Touching Lives in New Oworobong – A 5-Day Outreach Mission

Location: New Oworobong (Amartey), Kwahu South District, Eastern Region, Ghana
District Capital: Mpraeso

New Oworobong is one of the 52 Volta River Authority (VRA) resettlement communities, originally intended for the displaced population of Worobong. The town faces significant challenges including poor road infrastructure, limited access to healthcare, inadequate educational facilities, and economic hardship, with subsistence farming being the main source of livelihood.

As part of our 5-day humanitarian outreach mission, we journeyed to New Oworobong with a heart to serve, heal, and uplift. Our efforts were focused on both spiritual enrichment and physical support for the local population.

Outreach Activities Included:

  • 📖 Sharing the Word of God through prayer and ministry

  • 🎶 Inspirational worship music and encouragement

  • 👕 Distribution of clothing for children and adults

  • 🍚 Provision of food supplies for vulnerable families

  • 🩺 Basic healthcare assistance and health education

This outreach brought renewed hope to a community in need and furthered our mission of reaching the unreached with faith, compassion, and practical love.
